Had me scared in the first half not gonna lie: thought I had to pivot from my content concept I want to come out with but by the end of this read I’ve realized I’m on the right track 🫡🫡🫡
I’m going to start applying errands more liberally going forwards, in lieu of chores or admin, which are much less light hearted. Also, big up the compound made up word, huge fan
Omg not only is Anna Karenina a riot but something I'm particularly interested in is weird translations of it. I found a version printed in Spain during the dictatorship (with an insane arsenic-green cover) where the translator chose to significantly change the original text. (Kind of like iconic Icelandic Dracula translation?). I can check what this mischievous lil Spanish translator did with the "seeing her, as one does the sun" line?
Check!!! I have two different versions, one Oxford classics and a random one I got on my phone for subway reading and I had to stop reading the phone one because it was so so awful

1. Which version was it? I hear people hate the Rosamund Bartlett version but I'm dying to read it. I can't find it online.
2. Oh my god they cut it out completely! It starts with Levin approaching Kitty's cousin who yells his "there he is! Russia's number 1 skater!" thing
