I mourn Amy and Anthony Bourdain every day I get to live and I don’t feel it parasocial. I believe some people’s souls you understand without having to meet the person and some times the impact they have in your life is greater than people you got to interact with. Art in my eyes comes from a need of connection and understanding, that’s what they achieved to the highest degree and that’s why all of us still mourn them.
