I paused the movie, and cleaned my glasses to read this. It was everything I needed to hear. I remember when all of this happened, and I kept thinking, I wonder how she feels and what is she thinking thru all of this. Then I thought, I will watch from far, and root and holler and be in her corner. keep smiling and shining!!
My jaw was agape for most of this. The backlash against Kanye was how I started following GKJ, simply because I hated the thought of a bigot ending some young woman’s career because he knew he did some bigoted fucked up thing. Stayed because she’s so talented and I’ve appreciated her insight
