Launching right now exclusively to our Substack subscribers is our special edition Alexa Demie Zine. Printed in an edition of 500, the zine is 10 double-sided posters starring the Euphoria actress. Inside, Alexa takes i-D on a journey through her psyche, transforming from cherry blossom faerie to devilish spider woman. With Moshfegh, she discusses the price of fame, the trials of Euphoria, staying creative, and finding herself amidst her characters.

ALEXA DEMIE: She was my shield, she was my mask. I created her, and there are pieces of her that are me. There is a deep-rooted connection to her, but I’m not her. I’m not Maddy. I remember a moment where I realized Maddy was so enmeshed in me, that when I pulled her out, I just started crying.
